THOMAS JEFFERSON
"A song written and performed by Grace Chawla"

As a founding father, American hero, the first Secretary of State, and the President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson isn’t exactly an unknown figure. However, there are still parts of his story that no one ever learns about. These parts of history shed a light on the dark sides of his heroic character. Anti-suffragism. The first New Jersey State Constitution gave widowed and single women the right to vote, an ideal which Jefferson believed to be preposterous.
